The replacement line was firm but supply and exactly the right length.The original line shrunk to the point it was too short and was rock hard.Be careful as you may have to cut off the old lines from the metal bayonet line. (I had to split old line with a razor knife.)

Assuming the longer line was the fuel supply lie in, I attached the filter and installed it in my fuel tank, but when I went to prime the carb, it would not work. The lines in the carburetor are different sizes, so it linked like it would be a plug-and-play quick fix, but it was not. The lines were reversed. The suction line should be longer and the diameters were reversed. Luckily I had extra fuel lines in hand and cut some new lengths, so I basically only used the grommet from the kit. I would not buy this kit again based on my experience. The description is misleading, and if you don't have extra fuel lines handy, it is worthless. I would not recommend this option.

Plug did not fit in fuel tank because fuel tank is thicker than slut in the plug, Then when I tried using the original plug the hoses diameter was smaller than the old ones causing gas to leak around the hoses.

Didn't work for earthquake tiller gas lines way thinner than oem part that was on it.
