The warranty is nonsense. The item had a drained house on it and there was a freeze and it broke about 2 weeks after we got it. No place did it say you needed to bring it inside if it got below freezing. Maybe it was just a POS and it was not the freeze, who knows? They need a photo of the original sales receipt and have a very narrow definition of what they cover.

Picture was deceptive. It seemed the hose was included. When it arrived, only then, in small print on the wrapped reel, did it say “hose not included”. We used our old hose in it fine.

Am chiefly concerned about enhancing safety. Am not particular about hose automatically re-winding. Am more concerned about eliminating kinks in the hose if it's needed in an emergency. Therefore the more economical hand crank was sufficient for me.

Well made for the price , I tried the covered reels over the years and they start leaking almost instantly or falling apart , well not this 1 ! This is very durable and fittings connect with a nice hose very snug ! No leaks great reel!

Although the instructions say there is one. Also, there isn't any brass on here, so you must be EXTRA careful about connecting hoses. Both of those things just show how really cheap this thing is, and I doubt it is the least bit durable. I may return it.

I have three. One was destroyed by a donkey. The Wheel nut came loose. Have ordered a replacement. Such is life.
