The rubber seals are really flimsy compared to the original seals. After my 12th attempt, the seal started to rip a little bit. I was able to get the original seal back in on the first attempt. I wouldn't waste your money.

These are great replacement parts that exceed GM crap seals. I bought a vehicle with a GM SERTA transmission that was just off warranty and replaced their toilet paper seals with these and transmission worked perfectly after doing shift adapt relearn.

I really wish the tools were longer and had grip. Even with my small hands, I struggled to hold onto the tool while trying to load the rubber piece. With that, the tool that you load the rubber piece into is somewhat sharp. So, if you have to try several times to get it to load, you run the risk of the rubber piece becoming sliced. This could be avoided if one, the tool wasn't so short and had grip, and two, the loading tool hole was sanded or round a bit. I ruined 2 rubbers and need to order more before I can complete the rebuild. For your piece of mind, order extra.

The seal install tool is junk. Seals deform trying to install into tool before being pressed into TEHCM and do not return to original shape after install. Waste of money, not to mention time.

They did help transmission shifting, and that is what I wanted. Transmission was holding some gears too long, would have to let off throttle completely to shift, now shifts much better.
