It fits perfectly into my 60-year old pellet stove. No problem there. However, it claims to be made of stainless steel, but it appears to be carbon steel since I see iron oxide after each use. Carbon steel will deteriorate under the heat conditions of a pellet stove faster than stainless steel. At least it works and worth the price if it lasts 4-5 years.

With a good cleanout and this burn pot replacement, we went from needing to clean out "ash" (at that point, half-burned pellets) every two days to vacuuming very fine ash every two-weeks. MUCH better!
