I have been having really good luck with these simple little guys. Certainly in my top ten list of go to flies. Note that they are not very heavy and a sink tip will help get them lower in the water column if needed. Trout will rise for these though. They seem to get plenty of attention.

The flies I received barely resemble the product image. The shape is wrong. Very thin and missing the thicker belly with taper on each end. Completely lacking yarn. The pink thread is visible through the yarn because of how sparse it is. Maybe they will catch fish but I don't think you can call these Killer Bugs with how much they vary from Sawyer's original pattern (and basically every other Killer Bug fly).

I'm still figuring out tenkara fishing but these guys with a strike indicator performed great !!Had well over 25 fish suck them in and being barbless made it easier to release with minimal damage or stress..
