I already had a similar flat-nose glass breaking plier and I needed another to have a counter-pulling-breaking motion .... it works great.

ive done glass work as a profession since i was 16 years old. 71 now, dad owned the shop... and for the past 25 years as hobby/ money maker(stained glass).. havent bought a new pair of pliers for honestly 35 years. loved my old ones... they just up and walked away i guess... had to get a new pair and these are almost exactally the same as my old ones except for the coated handles and the old ones were kind of worn on the grip edges however i love these new pliers, almost as much as the ones that walked away.... exceptional 1/2 inch glass plyers.

They were not the pliers I needed so I returned them. They did appear to be sturdy.
