The drill bits themselves are excellent considering the dollar value, I would buy these again. As throwaway drill bits obviously if your machinist you won't be looking at these, but I was drilling through fiberglass, where I cannot use a hole saw, I also use them for aluminum and they are fine, I use them for steel going through quarter inch mild plate, still worked okay but don't quickly.

This is great. I needed a bit to put holes in my bowling ball for my interchangeable thumb. Bowling ball bits are so expensive and I thought let's try it out wven though I was told not to buy just any bit. This thing worked great and looks identical to the one the proshop uses at the bowling alley. One ball down 2 more to go. I only drill for myself so I won't be using it much. I'll come back after I'm doke drilling 2 more holes and let you know how it went.

I was a little sceptical about buying such a cheap bit but it has drilled over 20 holes and quarter inch steel without issue

I purchased another bit from a different manufacturer (see my previous reviews) and it was barely able to drill two holes in my metal plate. This bit was even worse! It was unable to finish the two holes started by the previous bit. See the attached images. The leading edges of the bit are chipped and dull after attempting the job at hand. I'm not sure where to get good drill bits anymore.
