The fit is very tight, I couldn't get them on my green house frame by myself. My boyfriend got them on with no problem even though I was afraid he was going to break them. So far, so good... the tight fit definitely keeps the plastic in place on my green house frame.

The item does not fit a 1" ID diameter pvc pipe as indicated in the product title.

I needed something to hold a beach towel in place on my zero gravity chair (1 inch tube frame). I was using plastic spring clips that looked terrible, moved around, and didn't secure the towel. These work perfectly and keep the towel securely in place while also being much less noticeable.

If I could rate zero stars I would. Does not fit 1" pipe. You CAN get it on with over 40 lbs of force and a healthy amount of vasoline. It fits 3/4" perfectly, with no plastic. Even 1/2" pvc with 2 layers of 6mil is a little too big for these. The plastic quality is also sub par.
