These type of add-a-circuit products overall: If you don't have a good fundamental understanding of 12v circuits, I would not recommend you purchase these. These ARE directionally dependent, you do need a multimeter to figure out which way to plug them in, and you do need to understand how/where to put the correct fuse. Unless there's a video telling you exactly what to do, just stay clear of these or leave rewiring to the pros.This brand in particular: I've used these to rewire/add some circuits in 3 cars now, and these have all worked great! the blue wire crimp never held/contacted very well on 2 of the 8 connections I've used, so I just cut them off, stripped the wire, and connected it to my other wire with some heat shrink tubing.

These worked good I was installing a stereo system in my car. Worked and made the job a lot easier and cleaned up the wiring.

The fuse tap works exactly as I’d expect it to but they fuses they came with are either too big or the holes for the fuses on the tap are too small. I had a little trouble getting their fuses in their fuse tap but my OEM Honda fuses went right in snug. Works as expected.

Bought these to simplify the hardwiring on my dash cam. The bonus was that it came with the fuse assortment that basically doubles as spares in case you need them. Fits perfectly without any interference from the fuses around the Add-A-Circuit.

One thing I learned the hard way, direction matters. i.e. if you plug this the wrong way, it will not work...Just like a USB plug that has three sides, wrong, wrong, and right :-)I just wish it was as easy to find a ground point to wire the negative side...
