I am pleasantly surprised by the quality of these brushes. I dissected one to see if they had the same shortcomings of other foam brushes I've used. They do not. The typical ones with the wooden handles usually fail at the point where the plastic foam holder attaches to the wood. These Fewanland foam brushes use a similar two piece design, but the diameter of the round part that goes into the handle is much thicker. The other problem that occurs with typical brushes is that when loaded with paint or stain they become floppy, more difficult to control, and eventually the foam falls off. The part holding the foam onto these is thicker plastic so it should not get floppy and it has directional spikes on the sides to keep the foam from backing off. Overall I am very happy with them.

Generally I hate using foam brushes due to the weak foam that is generally used with them. These have a nice firm feel to them and with 96 of them per box, we should be set with the crafting for a while. The wife had to try them out first thing and they hold plenty of paint and spread it smoothly.

After doing some research I bought these as I do a lot of wood projects. Best value for the money. Very durable and sturdy compared to others that fall apart.
