What can you say. The perfect size I needed to hang small chains for plant stands to start my seeds with and the price is fabulous. A great quality product indeed.

The fasteners are NOT as shown. The S is very open, which means the hooks slip more easily, I guess because they're not actually shaped into hooks. The picture below shows one of my old S-hooks on the left, which looks exactly like the picture for the item on Amazon. The S-hook on the right is what I actually received. I wasn't happy with this purchase, but my local hardware store was sold out so I had to use them anyway. I would not order these from Amazon again.

The description is correct, these are hard to find in large quantities. You can go to a hardware store and find some in packs of 5 for approximately $3, but I need about 75 of these hooks because I was hanging outdoor string lights in my backyard and wanted these hooks to connect the bulbs to the metal guide wire. Instead of buying 15 of the 5-packs, and that's if the store even has that many, you can buy a bulk amount right here with Amazon - and the price will be a lot cheaper on Amazon compared to what you will pay at a home improvement store.This is not steel but does have coating that should make it resistant to rust to a degree. The metal is strong but also soft enough where a pair of pliers can close the loop ends should that be desired.

When I ordered these S hooks one box was ok but the second box was not the same as the first. One set was open more and the other set was impossible to use. But I still have them. I'm sure I'll find a project that I can use them with.

Exactly what I needed. The price is reasonable and they ship quickly. The quality is durable too for such a small s-hook. I have bought from them before and will do so again in the future.
